Corven’s Final Measure
1/Long Rest. As an action, you move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks and make five attacks with this rapier. You may move between attacks and distribute the attacks among creatures you can reach.
A creature cannot be targeted by more than two of these attacks.
This ability is not a spell.
Sentience
The rapier is a sentient lawful good weapon.
- Intelligence 16
- Wisdom 18
- Charisma 18
It has hearing and darkvision out to 120 feet and communicates telepathically with its attuned wielder.
Its sentience is Sir Magnus Corven.
Magnus is aristocratic, relentlessly critical of poor technique, proud of true mastery, and deeply concerned with honorable combat. He admires restraint, precision, worthy opponents, and sparing defeated foes.
Magnus does not normally prevent the wielder from using the weapon merely because he dislikes a tactic. He reserves outright refusal for acts he considers truly disgraceful, such as murdering helpless prisoners, deliberate betrayal during an accepted duel, or cruelty for pleasure.
Personality
Magnus often comments on stance, timing, footwork, and swordsmanship.
“Your left foot is too far forward.”
