The shop carries tonics, tinctures, salves, scrolls, enchanted Items and much more. Nothing is flashy: ingredients are listed in a careful hand, dosages are scratched into slate tags, and every bottle bears a small raven mark for authenticity. A central hearth warms a pair of kettles; inventory is stored in cool alcoves; a standing-stone ledger records orders for the city watch, ship-crews, and scholars alike. Two tame crows—Ash and Soot—keep quiet watch from a beam above the till.
Presiding over it all is Bergmir Björnson, a stone giant with a long, copper-ringed beard and a generous belly, known for calm manners and a habit of “quality control” sips. His voice is low and even; his humor is dry. He measures by oath before coin, waters down nothing without saying so, and prefers remedies that work over those that impress.
