1. Description
1.1. Appearance
Benelion is a Prismling, a small celestial creature roughly the size of a large dog. Its body is covered in hard, stone-like skin with a subtle grey hue, giving it the appearance of a living sculpture carved from ancient rock. Beneath this rugged exterior, faint veins of radiant light trace intricate patterns across its body, revealing its celestial nature.
Embedded along its back are six luminous gemstones, each displaying a different vibrant color. These crystals pulse softly with divine energy, their brilliance standing in stark contrast to the muted tones of its rocky hide. Its large, opalescent eyes shimmer with reflected light, constantly shifting with iridescent colors that seem to reveal emotions before they are spoken.
Though physically sturdy, Benelion carries an unmistakable aura of warmth and wonder, as though it embodies the hidden beauty and sacred treasures of the earth itself.
1.2. Personality
Benelion possesses a deeply compassionate and empathetic spirit. It is highly attuned to the emotions of those around it and often communicates through gentle telepathic impressions, offering comfort, reassurance, and understanding without the need for words.
Despite its small stature, Benelion displays remarkable courage and selflessness. It willingly expends its own energy to heal and protect those it cares for, placing the well-being of others above its own. This sacrifice is never made reluctantly; rather, it embraces such acts as a natural expression of its purpose.
While generally calm and serene, Benelion also possesses a playful side, often expressing affection through curious exploration and light-hearted interactions. Beneath this gentle demeanor lies an unwavering devotion to its celestial calling, serving as a beacon of hope and healing wherever it travels.
2. Background
Little is known about Benelion’s origins, though its celestial nature suggests a connection to divine realms and powers beyond the mortal world. Like all Prismlings, it appears driven by an innate purpose to bring healing, comfort, and light to those in need.
Its radiant gemstones serve as both symbols and conduits of its divine power, reflecting the delicate balance between life, sacrifice, and restoration. Whether sent by higher powers or guided by its own sense of duty, Benelion travels alongside those it deems worthy, offering its gifts freely despite the personal cost.
To those fortunate enough to earn its trust, Benelion becomes more than a companion—it becomes a steadfast guardian whose loyalty and compassion know few limits.
