Traits
Shell Fortress. The snail’s shell is an armored fortress, providing exceptional durability and defense. As a reaction when it takes damage, the snail can retract into its shell. While retracted, it gains resistance to all damage types except psychic, and its AC increases to 26. However, while retracted, the snail cannot move or attack. The snail remains retracted until the start of its next turn, at which point it can use its reaction to emerge from the shell and resume normal actions. If it does not use its reaction to emerge, it remains retracted.
Slow but Steady. The Colossal Fortress Snail is immune to any effect that would reduce its speed or knock it prone.
Siege Monster. The snail deals double damage to objects and structures.
Colossal Presence. When a creature starts its turn within 10 feet of the snail, it must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone due to the snail’s sheer size and vibrations as it moves.

Crushing Roll. The snail moves up to 20 feet in a straight line. During this movement, it can move through the spaces of creatures of Large size or smaller. Each creature in its path must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 18 (4d8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t knocked prone. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.
