2. Biography
2.1. Background
Thereon Aelnor, a brilliant scientist, was, together with Dr. Dr. Jarvis, the leader of the science department in Oribos. Springwater tasked the scientists in Oribos with creating an army of combat robots to defend the realm of Lemuria. Jarvis and Thereon spent years researching and ultimately developed a mechanical super warrior.
Once the first prototypes were delivered to Springwater, modifications were demanded, such as disabling autonomous thinking and ensuring 100% control of the machines by a single person. Additional weapons were also to be implemented.
Thereon suspected that the robots would be used for purposes beyond defense and resisted these directives. This led to a conflict with Jarvis, and in the end, Thereon tried to destroy all the robots but was stopped by Jarvis.
With most of the robots destroyed and Thereon no longer cooperating, Springwater sent their army to destroy Oribos. Thereon activated the last two robots to escape. Jarvis was taken back to Springwater, where he continued working on new inventions. The city of Oribos is now a deserted ruin. One of the two robots was destroyed during the escape.
Thereon and FEND set up a small workshop/laboratory near a small village under the pseudonym Uldon Bryn. One day, Thereon left for Oribos but never returned.

4. Appearances
- Chapter 7 - The Goblin Cartel, Journey to Oribos: After gaining access to the Undercity of the Bilgewater Cartel, the group marches deeper into the old mine, where they find FEND’s mentor, Thereon Aelnor, along with 25 other enslaved scientists and citizens of Oribos. After several failed attempts to convince the guards to let them see Thereon, they start a rave. Captivated by the music, the goblins tap a keg of ale and begin partying wildly until they pass out from the alcohol. This allows the group to free Thereon and the other slaves and smuggle them out of the Undercity.
- Chapter 12 - The Final Battle, The Night Before the Battle: On the night before the final battle, the Deam made their way to the field camp. Together with Lady Laeral, Malgus Schwarzfeder, Uthliz and others, they discussed the battle plan for the following day. After the discussion, Elyndra returned from Oribos with a message from Thereon Aelnor for FEND. Thereon had noticed an unusual detail on the emblem with the head of the purple dragon that the city guard wore. He identified a strange brand mark on the dragon’s eye, oddly shaped.
- Chapter 4 - Arrival in Aureterna, Journey to the City of Clouds: The journey lasted two days, during which the party witnessed something deeply unsettling: in the far distance, entire landmasses were rising into the sky. Using a Sending Stone, FEND contacted his mentor Thereon Aelnor in Oribos to ask what was happening. The answer was grim — the world itself was breaking apart, piece by piece. Entire regions were being torn from the ground and lifted into the heavens. Most recently, half of Stahlheim had vanished.
