Elyndra
1. Description
1.1. Appearance
Elyndra is an ancient red dragon, her scales shimmering with deep crimson hues that reflect both her age and power. Her massive form is marked by battle scars and the branded insignia of the Githyanki, a symbol of her honorary place among their warrior ranks. Her eyes, golden and wise, reveal centuries of experience and a lingering sorrow from her long and tumultuous life[^1].
1.2. Personality
Elyndra is wise and contemplative, shaped by millennia of solitude and the rare joys and heartbreaks of companionship. She values freedom and kinship, having learned the pain of both love and loss. Though her draconic pride remains, she is fiercely loyal to those she considers family or clan, and her sense of justice is tempered by empathy. Despite her suffering, she retains a burning spirit and a desire for meaningful connection[^1].
2. Biography
2.1. Background
Elyndra has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations over thousands of years, spending much of her life in isolation as is common for her kind. Her world changed when she fell in love with a half-elf, leading to children and a brief, joyful family life. Ultimately, her draconic nature drew her away, but the experience awakened a longing for companionship[^1].
Seeking belonging, Elyndra joined a clan of Githyanki warriors, fighting alongside them and earning their respect and a place among their ranks. Her fate took a dark turn when she was captured during a failed mission and imprisoned for decades. In captivity, she endured cruel experiments at the hands of Dr. Dr. Jarvis, who sought to extract the magical properties of her ancient blood for his own twisted purposes. Though physically weakened, Elyndra’s spirit remained unbroken, and she now harbors a fierce desire for revenge against her tormentor[^1].
